The City of Chicago and the Chicago Infrastructure Trust have partnered on the Home Buyers Assistance Program to increase access to homeownership for more working families looking to purchase a home in Chicago.
The Home Buyers Assistance Program is geared towards first-time and returning home buyers, as well as homeowners looking to refinance their mortgages. It has the potential to GRANT up to 7% of the borrower's total loan amount.
As of today, there are 8 approved lenders for the Home Buyers Assistance Program. Please note that there are more lenders in process to become approved for the program and the list will continue to expand through the rest of the summer. Current approved lenders include:
1. American Financial Network
2. Guaranteed Rate
3. Home Trust Mortgage
4. Pacor Mortgage Corp.
5. Wintrust Mortgage
6. Inland Home Mortgage a Division of Inland Bank & Trust
7. Blueleaf Lending
8. Midwest Community Bank
